Fees

  • Free: Funerals, Memorials and Benefits, the Odd Basketball Game…

  • $50: Birthday Parties, Classes, Small Gatherings

  • $275: Large Parties, Weddings, Anniversaries

Expectations of Use of Brooksville Community Center 

  1. No smoking in The Brooksville Community Center.

  2. No more than 340 people standing, or 160 with tables and chairs.

  3. All floors must be swept and washed, including the kitchen, bathroom, and the entire gym floor. Supplies are located in the utility closet between the bathrooms.

  4. All trash must be taken out when you leave The Brooksville Community Center. All trash cans must have new trash bags placed in them; this includes kitchen and bathroom trash cans.

  5. Brooms, mops, buckets, and cleaning supplies must be placed back and returned to their proper spots.

  6. The heat must be turned down to 55 degrees prior to leaving and the fans must be left on low. 

  7. All dishes must be washed and put away in their proper locations. 

  8. Bathrooms must be cleaned and left as they were found.

  9. The refrigerator must be cleaned after use. Any items brought in must be taken out with you. Do not leave any food in the refrigerator.

  10. If you use the centers supplies, please restock. Supplies cost The Brooksville Community Center directly. Not replacing items used may result in increased center fees in the future.

  11. All tape and tacks must be taken down off the walls following the removal of decorations.

  12. Use of nails, staples, and screws to hang up decorations is strictly prohibited. 

  13. All doors and windows must be closed and locked prior to leaving. (Do not lock the bathroom or utility room doors.) Please ensure you double-check prior to leaving.

  14. All paper, garbage, balloons, returnables, and cigarette butts found outside must be picked or swept up prior to leaving, this includes the large side parking lot.

  15. All lights, including the stage and exit lights, must be turned off before leaving. 

  16. No string, rope, tacks, tape, or any other product is to touch the stage curtains. The curtains are incredibly costly. BCC asks that you do not use them except for stage purposes. 

Failure to follow these instructions may cause you to be subject to non-refund of your deposit and denial of future Brooksville Community Center rental. A Brooksville Community Center Board member will check the building after use to determine if expectations of this document were followed. 

The Brooksville Community Center is a valuable community resource. The Brooksville Community Center Board works hard to keep the facility clean and welcoming for everyone. With your help and cooperation, we can ensure it stays in great condition for years to come. Thank you for doing your part to help keep the community center clean and enjoyable for all!
